Kewaunee's steel cabinetry utilized full frame construction and heavy gauge steel, and has been specially engineered to withstand the extremes of heavy duty laboratory usage. Their electrodeposition paint process provides protection to all surfaces of the cabinet, including tough to paint places like the bottom underside of the cabinet.
Kewaunee's wood cabinetry is available in conventional and contemporary styles. Cabinets are of hardwood and hardwood plywood construction (available in two wood species: red oak and maple). Construction features include: full-framed top and solid bottom, joints that are doweled, glued and screwed, dovetail drawer construction, and epoxy coated 100 pound drawer slides.
Kewaunee's Supreme Air Series fume hoods are comprised of a variety of models and comprehensive option packages, enabling a hood to be tailored to the specific application needs of any laboratory.
Kemresin tops are manufactured exclusively by Kewaunee. Each top is custom made according to configurations and applications required for each assembly. Kemresin has excellent resistance to acids, alkalies, and solvent throughout and features an ultra-smooth, non-porous surface.
